HSE Objectives & Targets
-
1. Every task we perform is guided by rigorous risk assessment - from routine job safety analyses to formal reviews before new projects or equipment changes. High-risk activities are governed by strict Permit to Work controls, and our teams conduct monthly cross-departmental Hazard Hunts to catch risks before they become incidents.
-
2. Safety starts with knowledge. Every employee, contractor, and visitor completes HSE induction before site access, and our workforce maintains 98%+ on-time completion of safety certifications. Weekly Toolbox Talks keep teams aware of the risks specific to their daily tasks.
-
3. We're shifting from reacting to incidents to predicting and preventing them. Every employee contributes at least 3 safety observations a year, near misses are investigated within 48 hours, and corrective actions are closed at a 95%+ rate. Our goal: no hazard should ever be found by an external auditor before we've found it ourselves.
-
4. Safety commitment starts at the top. Senior managers conduct monthly site safety walkthroughs, lead Toolbox Talks, and participate in monthly HSE Committee Meetings - and HSE performance is now built into every employee's annual appraisal.
-
5. Safety is everyone's responsibility. Each employee reports at least 3 safety observations or near misses per year, complies fully with our Golden Rules and PPE requirements, and completes assigned training on time - with quarterly feedback on personal HSE performance.
